About Me.
I'm a Portland, OR, native based in the Pacific Northwest.
My approach to nonfiction storytelling is grounded in curiosity and, perhaps, a dose of existentialism. I specialize in producing captivating narrative videos and documentaries profiling individuals who possess a perspective unlike any other. I'm drawn to character-driven stories about people and organizations who have gone against the grain in their professional field or social context, who forge ahead amid uncertain circumstances to sustain their passions and uncover their destinies.

I felt grateful for the opportunity to return to school to obtain my Master's Degree in Multimedia Journalism from the University of Oregon amid the chaos and uncertainty of a global pandemic. Studying Multimedia Journalism, which included technical and theoretical coursework, helped me improve my critical thinking, storytelling, and multimedia production skills.

Psychology Minor
Ithaca College
Roy H. Park School of Communications
I was drawn to Ithaca College due to its hands-on style of instruction and applied learning, specifically within the Roy H. Park School of Communications. Spending my undergraduate years at IC allowed me to dip my toes into media production through the school's student-run broadcast and digital channel, ICTV, and Ithaca's Spoon University chapter. My experiences at IC provided invaluable groundwork to propel me toward a career within New York City's colorful media landscape.
